Their games have gotten pretty decent reviews if I'm not mistaken, they just haven't sold big numbers.

It's not really serious talk at this point, just that the producer sees it as a possibility. I, for one, think that Uncharted has huge potential as a movie.

Make sure the pacing gets adapted for a movie (i.e. hire a screenwriter) and you're golden. I also think they need to, and people may hate me for saying this, but they need to ignore the fan base. Don't try to make it an adaptation of a video game, make it a MOVIE first and foremost. Don't try to shoehorn in nods to the games, just take the concept and make a good movie.
They do need to listen to the fans on one thing, though. GET NATHAN FILLION TO PLAY DRAKE!...

It could be just a case of "I'm losing because of the host advantage" syndrome where the person has to find external reasons for losing.
I expect Natal will have some lag because of what it is doing. There's a lot going on inside that system. I mean, if Move adds 6ms of lag over the Dualshock by tracking one point, think how much time all that skeletal mapping takes. If developers find the proper ways to use it, though, it can bring some really cool thing...
I don't like the idea of throwing something I paid money for into the wind (i.e. deleting it to save space). I know i can download it again, but with the physical copy, I just have to put it in the tray, and I ALWAYS have it on hand. I know you can buy hard-drives, but that just seems more expensive than it needs to be. If I run out of drive space, I have to invest another 50% of the console's price to store more games. I have enough shelf space to hold a couple hundred more games...
I hope to get a 3D TV at some point to replace the TV in my gaming/theater room, then I'll put that 60 Hz LCD TV in my living room to replace my 29" CRT.

Every major event, some people expected it to be announced. It never was, so at the next major event, people expected it to be announced.
This just says that if it exists, it will be shown at E3. If it is not shown at E3, it probably doesn't exist. Nothing we didn't already know, really. I, too, am kinda hoping for it, though. A PSP2 with dual analogues, four shoulder buttons, FULL remote play compatibility (including playing all PS3 games), a touch screen, and perhaps a cell phone would be absolutely epic.
Many of them would. They'll complain the whole time, but they'll pony up. Far too few people seem to remember that in the free market, you vote with your dollar.
Yeah, the headline seems like hyperbole to me. It's a buggy update to be sure, and that's pretty crappy, but it's not like it is "removing features" permanently. The headline is just trying to feed people's fears and hatred after the whole "OtherOS" thing.
Alpha-Male 22, you posted that link about Sixense and pointed out that it mentions that it is coming to consoles this year. I was thinking about that, and came up with a HUGE potential E3 announcment. I tried to figure out which console could be interested in this since all three already have motion control systems announced.
Sixense does essentially exactly what Move does, so Sony wouldn't be interested. I could see Nintendo using this, but probably not until their ne...
Microsoft may have bought 3DV in order to have control of their patents. It is known that Sony was working with 3DV over 5 years ago - Sony even had the z-cam working on PS2 hardware (link to source posted below) - so Microsoft may have bought the company to eliminate the possibility of Sony, or anyone else, releasing a product similar to Natal.

I think Home is a good idea that is waiting to come to full fruition. My guess is that PS4 will launch with a more complete version of Home, possibly as the main user interface. Video files will be accessed by moving to the TV in your Home space, demos and games will by played by walking over an arcade type area, etc.
It did make me wonder if Gears 3 was coming to PS3 when it was revealed on Jimmy Fallon's show instead of at Microsoft's E3 presser. I thought maybe Epic had to reveal it themselves because MS was mad about them bringing it multi-plat, but then i realized that Sony would have snatched Gears 3 as one of THEIR E3 presser announcements if they could have. Great if it does happen, but I'm not expecting it.

Microsoft said that they were trying to keep the lag of a certain game down to 100ms. That includes controller and game latency, I assume. That is within reasonable levels (many games run at around 100ms of lag), but it is worth noting that that was for a game like Space Invaders or something (I can't find the link right now, though).
There have been reports that clock Natal's latency at a total of 200 ms, but that was on the Ricochet demo running non-final software...
